CAST vs POSS vs MASS — which will I take?
It follows the role: CAST for construction and skilled-trades roles, POSS for plant operators, MASS for maintenance. The hiring posting or recruiter tells you which; the mechanical/math/reading core overlaps heavily, so cross-training is efficient.
How do I improve mechanical aptitude quickly?
Drill the classic setups until the principles are reflexes: levers (torque = force × distance), pulleys (count supporting ropes), gears (meshed gears reverse; ratio = teeth ratio), hydraulics (pressure spreads equally). Most EEI mechanical items are one principle applied cleanly — recognizing WHICH principle is the skill.
